Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for consumer electronics and industrial automation
- Lead PCB layout and schematic development using Altium Designer/Cadence
- Validate prototypes through rigorous testing and compliance analysis (FCC/CE)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence in project deliverables
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded system integration
- Research emerging technologies (e.g., GaN semiconductors, wireless power transfer)
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and IPC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or embedded systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer/Cadence and SPICE simulation tools
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
- Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance testing methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain in Texas
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
