Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power systems for commercial solar installations
- Lead PCB layout and firmware integration for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for compliance with IEEE standards
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen energy storage solutions
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic simulations using COMSOL and ANSYS
- Manage vendor relationships for critical component sourcing
- Present technical findings to C-suite stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and industrial automation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and MATLAB/Simulink
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
- Expertise in NEC compliance and UL 8750 standards
- Proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
