Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications, including PCB layouts, schematics, and BOMs
- Lead cross-functional teams in the integration of hardware and software components
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (DO-160, IPC-2221) and safety regulations
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to optimize system performance and reliability
- Document all designs, procedures, and test results in compliance with ISO 9001
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design, with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro) and simulation software (SPICE, MATLAB)
- Strong understanding of power electronics, embedded systems, and EMI/EMC design
- Experience with aerospace or high-reliability industries preferred
- Certification in PMP or Six Sigma is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for technical and non-technical stakeholders
