Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards
- Lead cross-functional teams of instructional designers and subject matter experts in creating digital and print learning resources
- Conduct needs assessments and learning analytics to optimize curriculum effectiveness
- Collaborate with UX specialists to create accessible, inclusive educational materials
- Train educators on implementing new curriculum frameworks and pedagogical strategies
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of curriculum development experience in K-12 education
- Proven expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and learning management systems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful curriculum implementations across diverse student populations
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., CTD, CPLP) or educational technology
- Experience with adaptive learning technologies and data-driven curriculum optimization
