Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state standards and educational best practices
- Lead collaborative workshops with educators to gather feedback and iterate on curriculum materials
- Create engaging multimedia learning resources including interactive modules, assessments, and teacher guides
- Analyze educational data to measure curriculum effectiveness and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Mentor junior curriculum developers and foster a culture of innovation within the team
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and pedagogical methodologies
- Present curriculum innovations at industry conferences and contribute to thought leadership publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in curriculum development with proven impact on student outcomes
- Expertise in backward design principles and Understanding by Framework (UbD)
- Strong proficiency with educational technology platforms (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Experience managing curriculum projects with budgets exceeding $500K
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning materials
- Published research or portfolio of curriculum implementations in peer-reviewed journals
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
