Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, budgeting, and execution.
- Structural Analysis: Conduct thorough structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of all designs.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards in the UAE.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and draftsmen, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting technical proposals and project updates.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control.
- BIM Coordination: Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to enhance project visualization and coordination.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and construction.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, and other relevant design software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Leadership: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems under pressure.
