We are seeking a visionary Lead Cardiac Surgeon to head our surgical unit and mentor the next generation of cardiothoracic specialists.
You will work in a state-of-the-art environment equipped with the latest robotic-assisted surgical technology, supported by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgeries.
- Oversee departmental surgical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety standards.
- Mentor junior surgeons, residents, and fellows within our academic teaching program.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and anesthesiologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for high-acuity patients.
- Participate in clinical research trials to advance the field of cardiac intervention.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the surgical department and hospital executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in a high-volume cardiac center.
- Proven track record in surgical leadership and administrative management.
- Active medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated history of peer-reviewed publications and clinical research success.
