Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Company’s EHS policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with local regulations (NEA, MOM).
  • Conduct regular site inspections, comprehensive risk assessments, and internal audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA), to prevent recurrence and improve safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and deliver comprehensive safety training programs, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills for all staff levels.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date EHS records, including incident reports, risk registers, training logs, and safety documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to integrate safety into daily operations and long-term business planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Valid NEA/SSM Safety Officer Certificate or equivalent professional safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in EHS management within the industrial, manufacturing, or facilities sector.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex safety data, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
