Responsibilities
- Curate and maintain a 1,500+ bottle wine cellar with rotating seasonal selections
- Develop and execute wine pairing menus for à la carte and tasting experiences
- Lead a team of 5 sommeliers through rigorous training programs
- Source rare and emerging wines from premier French and international vineyards
- Host exclusive wine dinners and tasting events for VIP clientele
- Manage inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships
- Train staff on proper service techniques and wine knowledge
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years sommelier experience in 1+ Michelin-starred establishments
- Advanced certification (Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent)
- Deep expertise in French terroir and global wine regions
- Proven ability to build profitable beverage programs
- Exceptional palate and sensory evaluation skills
- Fluency in French and English; additional languages preferred
- Experience managing high-volume wine operations (>€500k annual revenue)
