Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and R&D to commercialization and launch.
- Oversee sensory testing panels and quality assurance protocols to ensure brand consistency across all SKUs.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to source premium, sustainable ingredients and manage vendor relationships.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of food technologists and culinary experts, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Stay ahead of food trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.
- Optimize existing recipes for scalability, cost-efficiency, and nutritional value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in food product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of FDA regulations, labeling requirements, and food safety standards (HACCP, SQF).
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products into competitive markets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical data for stakeholders.
