Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus showcasing premium local and imported ingredients
- Lead kitchen operations including inventory management, cost control, and vendor relationships
- Mentor and develop junior chefs through structured training programs
- Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain impeccable hygiene standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to enhance guest dining experiences
- Conduct weekly menu tastings and staff training sessions
- Oversee kitchen staff scheduling and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years culinary experience with 3+ years in head chef/sous chef roles
- Certification from renowned culinary institution (e.g., Cordon Bleu)
- Proven track record in Michelin-starred or fine-dining establishments
- Expertise in French/Asian fusion cuisine and molecular gastronomy
- Strong leadership skills with team management experience
- Advanced knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP)
- Fluent in English with Mandarin proficiency preferred
