Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal menus that align with culinary trends and customer preferences
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control
- Mentor and lead a team of 15+ culinary professionals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (HACCP)
- Collaborate with management on sourcing premium ingredients
- Manage kitchen budgeting and financial performance
- Represent the restaurant in industry events and media features
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years professional culinary experience with 3+ years as Head Chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent apprenticeship certification
- Deep knowledge of global cuisines and modern techniques
- Proven ability to manage high-volume kitchens (200+ covers/day)
- Strong leadership and staff development skills
- Expertise in menu engineering and cost optimization
- Passion for farm-to-table principles and sustainability
