Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative seasonal menus that highlight local and sustainable ingredients.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and service.
- Manage inventory levels, reduce food waste, and control operational costs effectively.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on all dishes and ingredients.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a culinary leadership role.
- Proven track record of menu development and cost control.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
