Responsibilities
- Design and execute seasonal menus with locally sourced ingredients
- Manage inventory, food costs, and supplier relationships
- Lead kitchen staff with daily scheduling and performance reviews
- Ensure adherence to HACCP and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house for seamless service integration
- Develop staff training programs and culinary techniques
- Conduct monthly menu tastings and innovation sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years as Head Chef or Sous Chef in fine dining establishments
- Culinary degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of modern cooking techniques and trends
- Proven ability to manage labor costs and food waste reduction
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- ServSafe certification or equivalent
- Portfolio showcasing innovative menu development
