Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that align with restaurant vision and market trends
- Lead, mentor, and manage kitchen staff (10+ team members) including hiring and training
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and cost control measures
- Source high-quality, sustainable ingredients through established vendor relationships
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to create seamless guest experiences
- Oversee kitchen operations, inventory management, and menu engineering
- Drive culinary innovation while maintaining consistency in execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years progressive experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification required
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage diverse kitchen teams
- Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food science
- Strong understanding of cost control, inventory management, and P&L metrics
