Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of service during peak hours.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and schedule baristas, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels of green and roasted beans, syrups, and supplies, minimizing waste while maximizing freshness.
- Recipe Innovation: Collaborate with the roasting team to create and refine seasonal drink menus that excite our customers.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality control checks on all beverages and food items to ensure consistency.
- Customer Experience: Act as the face of the brand, resolving conflicts and building lasting relationships with our community.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a high-volume coffeehouse environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and flavor profiling; Latte Art certification is a plus.
- Management: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- Certification: Valid Food Safety (SERVSAFE) and alcohol handling certification required.
- Passion: A genuine love for coffee and a commitment to sustainability.
