Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operations of the regional fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Analyze operational data to optimize routes and reduce fuel consumption.
- Ensure strict adherence to DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and company safety policies.
- Manage fleet budgets, including cost control and expense reporting.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dispatchers and drivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations.
- Proven track record in budget management and cost reduction.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ELD systems, and route optimization tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
