You will work alongside our Executive Chef to craft innovative menus, mentor a diverse brigade, and maintain the highest standards of culinary artistry in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service flow and impeccable plating standards.
- Develop and cost seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Train, mentor, and inspire a brigade of 20+ culinary professionals.
- Manage food cost controls, inventory procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Execute complex catering and private dining events with flawless precision.
- Monitor and minimize food waste through creative utilization and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end, fine-dining restaurant environments.
- Proven track record in a leadership role (Sous Chef or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and global cuisines.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and food cost percentage analysis.
- Exceptional ability to remain calm and decisive under extreme pressure.
- Current New York City Food Protection Certificate.
- Degree from an accredited culinary arts institution preferred.
