Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the culinary team to maintain peak performance during high-volume service.
- Develop and execute innovative seasonal menu concepts in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Manage rigorous inventory controls, food costing, and waste reduction strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with health department regulations and internal safety standards.
- Oversee kitchen staff training, professional development, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure premium quality sourcing and supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain equipment maintenance schedules and kitchen hygiene protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proven track record in a Sous Chef or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, labor costs, and budget reconciliation.
- Expert knowledge of modern culinary techniques and flavor profiles.
- Current ServSafe Manager certification required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
