As our Executive Sous Chef, you will work alongside the Executive Chef to cultivate a world-class menu, manage a high-performing kitchen brigade, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and artistic presentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, seasonal rotations, and cost control.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution during peak service hours.
- Train, mentor, and lead a diverse culinary team to foster a culture of growth and professionalism.
- Maintain strict inventory management and optimize food sourcing to reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with all health department regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee quality control for every plate leaving the kitchen to meet our signature standards.
- Manage kitchen scheduling and labor costs to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional culinary experience in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Proven track record in a leadership role, including team management and staff training.
- Deep understanding of food cost analysis, inventory systems, and P&L management.
- Exceptional knowledge of modern cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
