Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and production workflows to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and execute innovative seasonal menus.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and procurement to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Train, mentor, and inspire a diverse culinary team to adhere to high-standard culinary techniques.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and labor cost optimization.
- Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred environments.
- Proven track record in a leadership role (Sous Chef or equivalent).
- Expert knowledge of modern culinary techniques, sourcing, and flavor profiling.
- Strong financial acumen regarding P&L management, food costing, and wastage reduction.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Formal culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
