We focus on hyper-seasonal, ingredient-driven menus that push the boundaries of modern American cuisine. As our Executive Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen operations, and mentorship of our junior culinary team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage high-volume service shifts with precision.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu conceptualization and development.
- Maintain rigorous standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of line cooks and commis chefs.
- Monitor food quality, plate presentation, and consistency across all stations.
- Ensure compliance with all health department regulations and internal safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fine-dining or high-volume upscale restaurant kitchens.
- Proven track record in a leadership capacity as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
- Deep understanding of cost control, food waste reduction, and P&L management.
- Exceptional technical culinary skills with a focus on modern techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for team development.
