Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and team management of 15+ culinary staff
- Develop seasonal menus featuring premium local and imported ingredients
- Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain impeccable food safety standards
- Train junior chefs and implement culinary best practices
- Manage inventory controls and cost optimization strategies
- Collaborate with F&B Director on concept development and execution
- Handle VIP event catering and banquet coordination
Qualifications
- 5+ years in fine dining kitchens with 2+ years in sous chef role
- Culinary degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Proven expertise in Asian fusion and Western techniques
- ServSafe/HACCP certification mandatory
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of food cost control and vendor management
- Exceptional creativity in menu development and presentation
- Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred
