As our Executive Sous Chef, you will work hand-in-hand with the Executive Chef to refine menus, manage kitchen operations, and inspire a world-class culinary team to deliver excellence in every dish.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and seasonal recipe creation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure peak performance and consistency.
- Maintain rigorous food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
- Mentor and lead a brigade of 20+ culinary professionals.
- Manage food costs, inventory procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Execute complex culinary techniques with precision and artistic flair.
- Ensure all plates meet high-end plating and presentation standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-end, fine dining or Michelin-starred environments.
- Proven track record in kitchen management and leadership.
- Deep understanding of seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques.
- Strong financial acumen regarding food cost control and labor management.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
- Current ServSafe Manager certification.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
