Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure 100% compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu conceptualization and dish refinement.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse brigade of 20+ culinary professionals.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and COGS to ensure maximum profitability.
- Maintain impeccable quality control standards across all stations during service.
- Develop standardized recipes and training protocols for consistency.
- Foster a culture of professional growth and culinary excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in high-volume, fine-dining or Michelin-recognized environments.
- Deep expertise in food costing, P&L management, and kitchen administrative software.
- Advanced knowledge of modern cooking techniques and global flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills in high-pressure environments.
- Relevant culinary degree or equivalent professional certifications (ServSafe Manager required).
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
