As our Executive Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to elevate our menu, mentor our brigade, and maintain the highest standards of culinary excellence in a high-pressure, luxury environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus and daily specials.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, food cost analysis, and waste reduction.
- Lead, train, and inspire a diverse culinary team to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards for every plate leaving the pass.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee raw ingredient procurement.
- Oversee kitchen scheduling and labor cost management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end, fine-dining kitchen environments.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role (Sous Chef or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of P&L management, food costing, and inventory software.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced service environments.
- Exceptional culinary technique and a deep knowledge of modern cooking methods.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
