Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless service execution during peak hours.
- Mentor and develop the culinary brigade to maintain strict quality standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu development and innovative dish conceptualization.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and supply chain relationships to ensure optimal profitability without compromising quality.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health department regulations.
- Coordinate with the front-of-house management team to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Optimize kitchen workflow to improve efficiency and minimize food waste.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a fine-dining establishment.
- Proven expertise in modern culinary techniques and flavor profiling.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing food cost percentages and labor budgets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Food Safety Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent).
- Deep commitment to culinary excellence and an obsessive attention to detail.
