Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure all culinary standards are met.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of line cooks and prep staff.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design seasonal, high-margin menus.
- Maintain stringent quality control, food safety compliance, and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and precise food cost controls.
- Direct kitchen flow during peak hours to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Implement training programs for new staff to maintain operational consistency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fine-dining or high-volume upscale kitchens.
- Proven track record in a leadership role (Sous Chef or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of classic and modern culinary techniques.
- Strong financial acumen regarding food cost, labor, and P&L management.
- ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
