You will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen operations, and ensuring the absolute highest standards of plate presentation and flavor profiles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and production in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Direct and mentor junior culinary staff to maintain consistent, premium standards.
- Manage inventory, food cost controls, and vendor relationships to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate on seasonal menu design and innovative recipe testing.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Monitor food quality and plate aesthetics for every service.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in high-end, fine-dining establishments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing large culinary teams.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and food cost analytics.
- Current ServSafe Manager certification required.
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Exceptional command of modern culinary techniques and flavor profiling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
