Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations and kitchen staff management.
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect local market availability.
- Maintain strict inventory control, cost-of-goods management, and waste reduction strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to refine plating techniques and flavor profiles.
- Train and mentor junior staff to maintain high-performance culinary standards.
- Monitor and optimize food preparation workflows for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, fine-dining environment.
- Proven track record in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 15+ kitchen staff.
- Advanced knowledge of food science, flavor pairing, and modern cooking techniques.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced professional kitchen.
- Strong financial acumen regarding food costing and labor management.
