Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in the design and execution of seasonal, high-concept menus.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships to maintain healthy food margins.
- Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Monitor food quality, plate presentation, and consistency across all service shifts.
- Implement efficient kitchen workflows to maximize productivity during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house management to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in fine-dining or high-volume upscale restaurant environments.
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management software.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification required.
