Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and direct the culinary team during high-volume service.
- Develop and execute seasonal menu concepts that emphasize local, sustainable ingredients.
- Maintain strict cost control measures, including inventory management and food waste reduction.
- Uphold impeccable health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
- Mentor junior chefs and cooks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technique mastery.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Coordinate with vendors to source premium, fresh ingredients while managing profit margins.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fine-dining or high-volume upscale restaurant environments.
- Proven track record of leadership in a brigade-style kitchen.
- Advanced knowledge of French and modern American culinary techniques.
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and food cost analysis experience.
- Commitment to mentorship and team development.
