We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead our high-volume, fine-dining kitchen. You will work directly with our Executive Chef to manage menu development, kitchen operations, and staff mentorship in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and oversee line staff during service.
- Collaborate on seasonal menu design and innovative recipe development.
- Maintain rigorous food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
- Optimize food cost management and inventory procurement strategies.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and technical training for junior culinary staff.
- Manage kitchen labor budgets and scheduling efficiency.
- Ensure a seamless communication flow between back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end, fine-dining establishments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a Sous Chef or similar management role.
- Strong expertise in contemporary culinary techniques and flavor profiles.
- Current ServSafe Manager certification required.
- Proficiency with restaurant management software and inventory systems.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, high-volume kitchen environments.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
