Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of culinary execution.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu development and recipe standardization.
- Manage inventory levels, food costs, and procurement to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Train, mentor, and inspire a diverse brigade of junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Monitor food quality and plate consistency during high-volume service periods.
- Assist in the scheduling and performance management of the kitchen team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, fine-dining environment.
- Proven track record in a Sous Chef or similar leadership capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern culinary techniques and global flavor profiles.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with food cost management and P&L accountability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with poise.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
