Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service and consistent quality.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of culinary professionals.
- Manage food cost control, inventory procurement, and waste reduction strategies.
- Collaborate on menu development and conceptualize seasonal specials.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain high standards of plate presentation and culinary execution.
- Manage scheduling and labor costs to maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-end, fine-dining kitchen environments.
- Proven track record in a Sous Chef or similar leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety certifications (ServSafe Manager required).
- Strong financial acumen regarding P&L management and food costing.
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
- A creative palate and a deep passion for farm-to-table culinary trends.
- Culinary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
