Responsibilities
- Direct all culinary operations, ensuring consistent delivery of award-winning gastronomic experiences.
- Design and execute seasonal, high-concept menus utilizing locally sourced, premium ingredients.
- Manage comprehensive kitchen budgets, food costs, and labor percentages to optimize profitability.
- Mentor, train, and inspire a diverse brigade of 40+ culinary professionals.
- Establish and maintain rigorous standards for food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Sommelier and Beverage Director to create world-class wine and food pairings.
- Oversee procurement strategies and foster exclusive relationships with local purveyors and artisans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in professional kitchens, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role (Executive Chef or CDC).
- Proven experience in a Michelin-starred or James Beard-recognized environment.
- Deep expertise in modern culinary techniques and farm-to-table philosophy.
- Exceptional financial acumen, including P&L management and inventory control.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent high-level professional apprenticeship.
- Advanced Food Safety Certification (ServSafe Manager or equivalent).
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage high-pressure environments with composure.
