Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that align with current culinary trends and guest preferences.
- Manage food cost control, inventory, and purchasing to maximize profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and Front of House team to deliver seamless service.
- Innovate recipes and special events menus for private dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, fine-dining establishment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a large team.
- Deep knowledge of global culinary techniques and ingredient sourcing.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate and proof of medical fitness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
