Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative seasonal menus aligned with culinary vision
- Lead, mentor, and manage 15+ kitchen staff through daily operations
- Oversee inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships
- Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain 5-star sanitation standards
- Collaborate with beverage director on wine pairings
- Train staff in advanced cooking techniques and plating
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive kitchen experience, 3+ as Executive Chef
- Michelin-starred or fine dining background required
- Proven menu development and cost management expertise
- California Food Handler and ServSafe certifications
- Deep knowledge of sustainable sourcing and local purveyors
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
