Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team with a focus on innovation, quality, and consistency.
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that highlight local, sustainable ingredients.
- Manage kitchen operations, including staffing, inventory control, and food cost management.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and sanitation (HACCP compliance).
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff to foster a collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume establishment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Expert knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sustainability and local sourcing.
