Responsibilities
- Develop innovative seasonal menus aligned with culinary trends and guest preferences
- Lead kitchen operations including inventory management, cost control, and vendor relations
- Mentor and develop kitchen staff through training programs and performance feedback
- Ensure adherence to HACCP standards and maintain impeccable food safety protocols
- Collaborate with F&B Director on concept development and menu engineering
- Oversee kitchen budgeting, purchasing, and waste reduction initiatives
- Represent the restaurant at industry events and media opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years as Executive Chef or Sous Chef in fine dining establishments
- Culinary degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Proven expertise in Mediterranean and Latin American cuisines
- ServSafe certification and advanced food safety knowledge
- Strong leadership and team development abilities
- Experience with high-volume restaurant operations and cost control
- Passion for local sourcing and sustainable culinary practices
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
