Responsibilities
- Design and execute seasonal menus featuring premium local and international ingredients
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, inventory management, and cost control
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of culinary professionals
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with F&B Director on menu development and concept innovation
- Manage vendor relationships and sustainable sourcing practices
- Represent the hotel in culinary competitions and industry events
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years as Head Chef/Executive Chef in 5-star hotel environment
- Professional culinary certification from accredited institution
- Proven expertise in Asian fusion and international cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with team development experience
- Advanced knowledge of cost control and inventory management
- Fluency in English; additional languages preferred
- Passion for sustainability and farm-to-table practices
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
