Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that balance creativity with operational efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and manage kitchen staff (15+ personnel) through daily operations
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and HACCP protocols
- Collaborate with suppliers to source premium local and sustainable ingredients
- Oversee inventory management, cost control, and vendor relationships
- Train kitchen team in advanced techniques and plating standards
- Conduct regular menu tastings and implement customer feedback
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive experience in fine dining kitchens, including 3+ as Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef
- Culinary degree from accredited institution or equivalent professional certification
- Deep knowledge of global cuisines, flavor pairings, and contemporary cooking techniques
- Proven track record in menu development and cost control
- ServSafe certification and advanced food safety knowledge
- Exceptional leadership skills with ability to inspire and develop teams
