Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal menus featuring hyper-local Singaporean ingredients with modern interpretations
- Manage kitchen operations, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies
- Mentor junior chefs through structured training programs and skill development
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and maintain 5-star hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with beverage director to design wine pairing experiences
- Oversee menu R&D and maintain culinary innovation pipeline
- Lead restaurant service during peak periods and special events
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years progressive culinary experience with 3+ years at executive level
- Proven track record in Michelin-starred or fine-dining establishments
- Advanced certification from reputable culinary institution (e.g., Cordon Bleu)
- Expertise in molecular gastronomy and Asian fusion techniques
- Strong P&L management and vendor negotiation skills
- Singapore Work Permit or PR status required
