Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect current food trends and local ingredients
- Lead kitchen operations including inventory management, cost control, and vendor relationships
- Mentor and develop culinary staff through training programs and performance feedback
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to create seamless dining experiences
- Manage kitchen budgeting and P&L optimization
- Source sustainable and high-quality ingredients from local producers
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of progressive culinary experience with 3+ years in executive leadership
- Formal culinary education from accredited institution or equivalent apprenticeship
- Proven expertise in menu development and kitchen management systems
- Strong knowledge of nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions
- Exceptional creativity and attention to detail in plating and presentation
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- ServSafe certification required
