Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative seasonal menus aligned with culinary vision and market trends
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff while maintaining highest standards of food safety
- Collaborate with management on menu pricing, promotions, and event planning
- Ensure consistent quality across all dishes while maintaining profitability margins
- Implement sustainable practices and maintain impeccable sanitation protocols
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients
Qualifications
- 5+ years as Executive Chef or Sous Chef in high-volume fine dining establishment
- Formal culinary education from accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to manage P&L, control food costs, and optimize inventory systems
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing diverse teams
- Deep knowledge of sourcing local, sustainable ingredients and seasonal menus
- ServSafe certification and comprehensive knowledge of HACCP protocols
- Exceptional creativity with ability to balance innovation with operational efficiency
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure environment
