- Manage kitchen operations including inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships
- Mentor and develop 15+ culinary team members through structured training programs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards
- Collaborate with beverage director for harmonious menu-pairing experiences
- Oversee menu testing, recipe refinement, and presentation standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive experience in fine dining with 3+ years as Executive Chef
- Classical French training with modern culinary innovation expertise
- Proven ability to manage high-volume kitchens ($5M+ revenue)
- ServSafe certification and extensive knowledge of NYC health codes
- Strong financial acumen in food cost management and P&L oversight
- Portfolio of award-winning menu development and execution
