Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal menus highlighting California's finest produce
- Lead kitchen operations during peak service hours
- Manage inventory and cost control systems
- Mentor junior chefs through training programs
- Collaborate with beverage team on pairings
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols
- Oversee kitchen staff scheduling and performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years as Executive/Sous Chef in fine dining
- California Food Handler certification required
- Proven menu development expertise
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices
- Experience with high-volume service
- Culinary degree or equivalent training
