Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal tasting menus featuring Asian fusion cuisine with premium local ingredients
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ culinary professionals through rigorous training programs
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory control, cost optimization, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and maintain 5-star hygiene ratings
- Collaborate with beverage director to create wine-pairing experiences
- Contribute to menu R&D using molecular gastronomy techniques
- Represent restaurant at culinary competitions and industry events
Qualifications
- 10+ years professional culinary experience with 3+ years in executive chef roles
- Formal culinary degree from accredited institution or equivalent apprenticeship
- Proven track record in Michelin-starred or fine-dining establishments
- Expertise in Asian fusion cuisine with modern plating techniques
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse kitchen teams
- Certification in food safety management (HACCP/SafeServe)
- Fluent in English with additional language proficiency preferred
- Portfolio showcasing signature dishes and menu development
