Responsibilities
- Lead the daily culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Manage kitchen staff through effective training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations (HACCP compliance).
- Control food costs and inventory levels to maximize profitability.
- Foster a culture of creativity and teamwork within the kitchen brigade.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume culinary environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Proven track record of successful menu development and cost control.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse kitchen team.
- Deep knowledge of local sourcing, sustainability practices, and dietary restrictions.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during peak service hours.
