Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental compliance reporting
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational workflows
- Track KPIs and prepare executive dashboards on EHS performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour and CHST certifications required
- Proficiency with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, RCRA, and TSCA compliance
- Experience managing industrial hygiene programs and PPE protocols
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
